Starting April 26, 2027, all new, actively used or publicly available digital content hosted by or created on behalf of NC State (us) must follow Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA standards.
These standards apply to the following common content types (among others):
- Websites
- Applications
- Online course content
- PDFs
- Word processing documents
- Presentations
- Spreadsheets
- Videos
- Podcasts
- Social media posts
All digital course content must be accessible. All college and department websites must be accessible.
