Minor in Religious Studies

The minor in religious studies combines well with many majors, ranging from engineering and management to anthropology and history.

Minor Overview

The minor in religious studies is designed to expose students to three fundamental areas: historical methods, textual methods and critical/theoretical methods. 

Requirements

The minor consists of 15 credit hours, including 9 hours of required courses and 6 hours of elective courses.

Admission

Students can apply for admission to any university minor program in MyPack Portal. Admission will be based on the student’s academic record, and in most cases no longer requires departmental review.
