LACSI Conference on Paradoxes

The Logic and Cognitive Science Initiative (LACSI) Conference on Paradoxes will take place between 12:30 p.m. on Friday, September 13 and 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14 on NC State University’s North Campus.

Program

All talks will take place in Withers Hall, Room 140.

Friday, September 13

Conference Travel Fellowship

Since 2015 we have provided a travel fellowship to enable either a Ph.D. candidate or a recent Ph.D. graduate from an under-represented group in philosophy to attend each LACSI Conference. How to apply for the 2024 fellowship.

Accommodation

The Aloft Raleigh, which is within easy walking distance of NC State University’s North Campus, has reserved a small block of rooms for conference participants at the discounted rate of $189 per night (plus taxes). Attendees must reserve their room by August 13, 2024, in order to receive this special rate. Parking

Free parking will be available almost anywhere on North Campus on Saturday, September 14, but on Friday, September 13 it will be necessary to park off campus or in one of the visitor parking areas on campus, such as the Dan Allen Deck Pay Area or the Coliseum Deck Pay Area.

Food and Drink

There is a selection of eating and drinking establishments along and close to Hillsborough Street opposite NC State University’s North Campus.
